This page answers the most common questions about TNCE smart plugs, switches, bulbs, and Tuya-based smart devices.


TNCE smart device doesn’t work

Problem:
Device does not turn on or respond.

Solutions:

  • Check power outlet
  • Reset the device
  • Test with a low-power device (lamp)

Device does not connect to Wi-Fi

Problem:
The app cannot find the device.

Solutions:

  • Use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only
  • Disable VPN / hotspot
  • Allow location permission
  • Try AP Mode

Device goes offline

Problem:
Device is added but shows Offline.

Solutions:

  • Move device closer to router
  • Restart router and device
  • Use a fixed Wi-Fi channel

Device cannot be reset

Problem:
Pairing mode does not start.

Solutions:

  • Hold reset button 5–10 seconds
  • Power OFF / ON several times
  • Use another socket

Zigbee device not responding

Problem:
Zigbee device does not connect.

Solutions:

  • Check Zigbee gateway
  • Move device closer
  • Reset and re-pair

⚠️ Important

Always use Smart Life or Tuya Smart app specified in the TNCE product description.
Other apps may cause unstable operation.
